The day you rolled over for the first time

Today, I want to write down a small moment that softened my heart — the day you rolled over for the very first time.

In the morning, while I was folding a few of your tiny clothes, I heard your familiar little “coos.” When I turned around, I saw you trying to tilt your body, rocking from left to right. Your eyes were bright, and your little legs kicked with so much determination.

And then…
With one gentle twist, you rolled over all by yourself.

You lay on your tummy, lifted your head, and opened your eyes wide as if saying:
“I did it, Mommy!”

I stood there, laughing and feeling my eyes sting with happy tears.
Such a tiny moment — yet my heart felt overwhelmingly full.

As you grow, I grow with you

Motherhood is such a strange thing…
Your tiny milestones make me feel as happy as if I had just received a precious gift.

– When you crawl a few steps, I somehow feel stronger.
– When you manage to fall asleep on your own, I feel like I’ve grown a little more.
– When you cry less than yesterday, all my efforts suddenly feel worth it.

Maybe that’s why this journey of motherhood, though exhausting, is filled with so much love and magic.

A gentle reminder to myself

“Mommy, don’t worry too much.
I will grow, in my own way.
You just need to be here, gently by my side.”

Every day of raising you teaches me a new way to love — a love built from patience, from hands always ready to lift you up, and from a heart that finds joy in the smallest moments.

And I believe…

One day, when you crawl faster, stand stronger, and run around the house with tiny footsteps…
I’ll have countless more moments I want to remember — little pieces that make up the beautiful memories of this motherhood journey.

Thank you for growing up with me, little by little.
