The quality control journey — why Benty is so meticulous ?
At Benty, every little outfit must go through a true “challenge” before it reaches moms —
our famously meticulous quality control process that the whole team often jokes about:
“If it passes Benty QC, it’s ready for the world.”
For us, making clothes for babies can never be rushed or careless.
Because babies deserve to be touched only by what is safe, gentle, and truly thoughtful.

Step 1: Checking every seam — every single stitch
When a product comes off the sewing machine, our QC specialist is the first to examine it.
She doesn’t check it casually — she checks with her hands, her eyes, and her intuition.
Her checklist includes:
-
stitches must be even
-
no rough spots, no loose threads
-
neck and sleeve bindings must be soft and gentle on the skin
-
seams must lie flat and not twist
If there’s even the smallest flaw:
→ it goes straight back to the sewing team for correction.
She always says:
“Clothes for babies must never have mistakes.”

Step 2: Stretch test – pull test – fold test
To make sure the clothes won’t tear when babies move, our QC team will:
-
gently pull on each seam
-
fold and unfold the fabric repeatedly to test durability
-
press on the printed design to check adhesion
-
stretch the neckline to ensure it expands evenly
It can look a bit… “intense” at times,
but that’s how Benty makes sure every product is strong enough
for even the most active little ones.
Step 3: Checking color — size — and form
Beyond checking for flaws, Benty also compares:
-
whether the color matches the approved sample
-
whether the size follows exact measurements (even a 0.5 cm deviation isn’t allowed)
-
whether the garment keeps the correct shape and form
Any small adjustment to the form is recorded so we can perfect it even more in the next production run.
Step 4: Clean test — scent test — safety check before packaging
Before folding, each product is:
-
dusted clean
-
smoothed and straightened
-
checked again for labels, tags, and size
-
ensured to have no loose threads or lint
Benty never uses strong artificial scents.
We keep only the natural, clean smell of fresh fabric — gentle and safe for babies.

Step 5: Packaging — with care from the entire team
Finally, our warehouse team folds each outfit neatly, places it into a clean bag, and seals it carefully.
Right before sealing the box, the whole team always repeats the same familiar line:
“We hope the baby feels comfortable, and we hope mom feels at ease.”
Just one simple sentence,
but it’s the reason Benty pays attention to every tiny detail —
every single day.
Benty believes that…
A strict QC process isn’t about making things difficult —
it’s about making sure that:
every product that reaches mom and baby is truly flawless.
Not flawless in a luxurious, extravagant way,
but flawless in every small act of care and kindness meant for little ones.
